Headaches

For impairments based on the 5th edition of the AMA Guides, headaches are considered in Chapter 18, Pain (5th ed. p. 565-591). Table 18-1 identifies headaches as one of the well-established pain syndromes without significant, identifiable organ dysfunction that can be used to explain the patient's pain.
